New Member from Illinois With Question
Hi guys,
New member here and just wanted to take a sec to introduce me and my bolt
. A couple months ago I purchased a used 06 Supercharged SS with about 100k miles. She's my baby! All stock except for the plasti dip on the wheels for the winter. Probably going to stay stock for a while considering how expensive school is lol.

Anyway, as far as my question goes...
Yesterday I accidentally left a wet towel on the Recaro seat and when it dried it left an outline from where i left the towel?! I find it hard to believe that this stain is only from water (although I could be wrong). I'm wondering if maybe grease or dirt from the towel mixed with the water to leave the stain? Any suggestions on how to get it out?

Welcome!
Believe it or not, water will stain the Recaros. The easiest way to clean them is called Tuff Stuff, it's like $3 at Walmart and will clean them amazingly well. Mine looked pretty clean, but the microfiber was turning blue from dye from my jeans that had rubbed off, that the Tuff Stuff was getting out.

welcome..
as whitney said tuff stuff is the best cleaner for the recaros. i did a demonstration awhile back with it...... spray it on heavy, let it soak in for a minute or 2, do another coat, and then blot with paper or a normal towel to remove the stain or if you have a small spot carpet cleaner that will extract it too. works great!

I have recaros in the front and fully leather seats in the back. I'm sure those will need some cleaning soon also. And my hometown is Naperville but currently going to school in Peoria, IL. Haven't met any fellow Balts yet
