New Member Intro

Hello all,

I recently bought a Cobalt SS 2.4 supercharged and overall I'm satisfied with it. I came from owning a Saab and although they are nice cars, they are expensive to fix. I do have few questions about the setup as I did not purchase or install the current mods on it. Also I'm more familiar with turbo setups so forgive me if I sound like a noob.

On my current setup, I do not see a Heat Exchanger or Auxiliary Radiator in between the Radiator and AC Condenser nor in front of the AC Condenser. Is that a bad thing?

Also I'm not sure which side the intercooler pump is located on the 2.4 build. Is it the same place as on the 2.0?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

I'm very aware of that..
Somebody other than me put the supercharger on the car and I'm sure its a 2.4 SS (VIN #, shifter ***, guages, etc)
My question basically is are those two necessary for a supercharge build?

if its on the stock pulley its technically not necessary to have a heat exchanger setup but it is strongly advised

also, welcome to css

Thank you everyone for welcoming me to this forum

@Slowbalt2000 thanks for the information. Very much appreciated.

Will be saving for a heat exchanger setup.
