Hello all, my name is Eric and i am from southeast Michigan. Just picked up an 08 SS and have been creeping on this site learning as much as I can. It has a GMS1, other than that all stock... for now

Thanks guys. She needed some love at first, so it went straight to the detailer after I picked her up. And then a few more hours of elbow grease from my brother and I really made her shine.
Right now I want to keep the mods light so I am thinking.
Sportline springs.
AEM CAI ( the previous owner had in the box still, never installed)
Down pipe?
Tune ( Not sure by who but Ive seen some good things about tuners in Michigan)
And then we'll see.
Thats gotta be good for 10+ hp right?

Dragging this outta the depths for a quick update.
Finally got some time and cash to start modding!!!
This winter ice fell off a truck in front of me smashing in the plastic end tank on the stock IC so started off with an upgraded intercooler from ZZPerformance. Excellent packaging and quick delivery.
Next up I installed the AEM CAI that the previous owner had given me when I purchased the car. More goodies from my new favorite company ZZP included a catless downpipe and their PCM tune. Also had to replace a bad front end hub assembly. Also FYI be absolutely sure the replacement you buy has the same number of teeth as the stock hub!!!
Future plans include a general tune up and maitenance, plugs,coolant... ect also going to do a seafoam treatment as well. New front tires, thinking Nittto NT05's, And after that it will be reliability mods and a full e47 tune!!
Loving the new sound and attitude of the balt!
