I know exactly what you mean. My last two cars were lowered and modded to high hell and I'm kind've looking forward to having a car that works exactly like it should and doesn't have exhaust leaks and the other stuff that goes with modding heavily.

Here's a picture of mine from about a month ago. Taken out at Airpark during the SCCA Autocross races. You'll notice the door of my friend's 07 SS/SC in the picture as well.
I had to replace the little inter-cooler protector because I scraped too much stuff here in Lincoln. Don't lower it! lol But yea, I'm surprised I haven't see this TC around here.

By the way, I don't know what you're planning on doing to the car, but if you're going to get exhaust on it I will say from experience that just cutting the muffler out sounds pretty damn good. Cheap as hell too. I got it done at Pro Muffler. You may be looking to do more work to your car too, I'm keeping mine pretty much stock just because I need it to be reliable to go to school. I start law school at Creighton in August and I'm going to try commuting :/.
I also like lower exhaust sound. If you like it higher pitched, you may want to go a different route.
I noticed it got a little bit louder. The intake and turbo noise is still very quiet though. I cut out my muffler and had a pipe welded in after I got the K&N though, so that is louder than everything else.
