I’ve been lurking the forum for a few weeks and just picked up an 09 cobalt ss as my new dd. The car is bolt on and tuned and has 114k miles. What are common problems with these platforms that i
should be looking to address pretty soon if any?

Welcome. Turbo Cobalt with DI your valves can become coked because there are no port injectors constantly cleaning them. If it hasn't been done yet I think most LNF people recommend walnut blasting your intake valves.
