Hi folks, my name is Nick.
Appreciate you allowing me to join the club.
Pictured below is the 2007 Cobalt SS my son bought a couple of years ago.
He bought it fairly inexpensive, knowing it had a few issues.
He drove it for a bit, playing with it up and down the street in our rural neighborhood.
But it has now been sitting, parked for over a year now because the transmission has issues, rendering it not drivable.
I’m a bit of a classic car enthusiast, and have my own shop with tools and a lift that I use to keep my classics and DD's running. So I’m not afraid to tackle car projects.
I’d like to start getting my head wrapped around what it’s going to take to get my son’s SS up and running again, and even get a bit of father/son time out of it if I can.
I am an active member in a classic car forum so I can appreciate this type of community.
Hoping to get some advice from you seasoned SS owners on how to move forward with tackling this project.
I haven’t had the chance to poke around this place for info yet, but I plan to.
