This is my 2007 Cobalt SS S/C. I just bought it a few days ago. I'm still trying to figure out what is aftermarket and what isn't, and the previous owner doesn't have much info.

Welcome.

I like that color, my '06 was the same color. Your car looks like it was treated well.

Pictures tell a different story than human eyes. The front lip is busted, one side of it is being held on by self tappers and the other side is a mix between adhesive pads and the actual clips. The passenger roofline is dented, and when you open the door the top of the door sill is scratched like the car was in an attempted burglary. The trunk has two dents, and whoever used the key to open the trunk must've been blind, and there's nicks and blemished in other places. Hoping to get the majority of those dents fixed, and the bumper cracks replaced, and have it resprayed in the same color (Lazer Blue Metallic).
But at this time it is my first car, and the dents and cracks give it personality. I paid 3,200 for it, and there's more going on under the hood the previous owner didn't know about.

First thing I would do is replace those self tappers so they don't end up in your tire. Something that might work instead would be rivets with an appropriately sized rivet washer on the back sides.

The top of my car door sill has scratches as well. Not from attempted burglary but from me having to break in myself when I accidentally locked my keys inside at locations far away from home lol.

I'm not too worried about it right now, I'm planning on getting the all the dents removed, new front and rear bumpers, and have the car resprayed (the same color).

I did in fact post a bunch of photos of the engine bay on another thread, I was attempting to find out what was done to the car.

I have already replaced the taillights with non-leaky and LED ones, I've replaced the third brake light housing since it was broken and caused the deck lid to leak, and I have un-yellowed the headlights.

The car still isn't registered, have to wait till Friday to do that (DMV's reopen). Right now I'm just learning the clutch, which is a lot different than I expected, grabs really up high.
