Hey guys. I am new here and to the cobalts. I just bought a 07 ss/sc from a gentleman in his 50's who used it as a summer commuter car. cool guy who took great care of it, and babied it.

I am a 32 year old air force vet that.

The goal of this car is to save gas and miles in my Z71 silverado... my gas will be more than cut in half. and the miles on my truck will be just for taking the fourwheelers and snowmobiles up north.

I have no huge plans to make it a race car, but would like to hear the super charger. I also want to go a little faster without sacrificing a ton of mileage or reliability. not sure what that means I can do on this car. maybe get it into the mid to high 13's and call it good?

I am also from michigan. Im up in the thumb. If you want to hear that blower whine you can do a simple air box mod. There are how tos on here if you search. You can get more power by getting stage kits from zzp or ottp. Lucky for us, both of them are located in michigan.

Welcome. Im all over michigan, maybe we'll run into eachother. Car should run mid-low 14s stock so 13 shouldbe easy.
