lol indeed. That's what ive been lookin at the past week or so.. Toss up between the MPX and Turbo XS. Just seems like the FL is gonna be to loud for me and the GT is going to be to quiet. Probably just gonna go MPX catted dp and catback with muffler delete section. Hopefully that will be just right

 

I'd go with a catless downpipe (I have ZZPs) with a muffler delete.

would love to go catless but I doubt it would pass inspection here in the lovely state of NY and I dont feel like swapping a cat everytime i get an inspection lol

 

please excuse my possible stupidity, but here in Wisconsin, we dont get inspected. I am just curious on the process of getting inspected. what actually happens?

 

Every year we have to bring it to a mechanic, they plug it into a computer and see if any codes are present that would create high emissions. On top of that they visually check to see if all the emission stuff is still installed (like cats, etc.), make sure tires, brakes, lights and everything are good... Its basically another way for the state to create revenue.

 

hmm.. do you have to pay for that?

 

Yeah you do it usually cost me around 26$ and I guess if you wanna go illegal some charge like 40 and above to pass you. Btw welcome clean car

 

Understandable, inspection/emissions sucks.

 

zzp makes one with a removable cat that you can swap with a straight piece. its like 4 bolts to swap pieces.

 

x2 i only have to do standard inspection though, no emissions yet. but they do visual for cat.

 

My guy doesn't even care, but I'm emissions exempt.

 

how so? i thought that was for high mile cars?
