New ss/sc owner checking in

Hello all, Michigan guy here just purchased a 05 ss/sc. I picked it up last week and am going through the process of starting the head gasket replacement and figuring out what mods it already has. Hoping to get some good info here.

Welcome. I assume you suspect the head gasket is bad and you bought it like that? Might be a good idea to at least have the head checked out for flatness while you have it off.
