New SS TC owner, want a bit louder.

Hey guys. I've owned my 2008 Cobalt SS for about a week now and I want it a bit louder. It sounds just fine to me I would just like it a bit louder and more gurgly while adding power. But not ricey. Suggestions?
Bone stock except an intake.

Turbo XS FL exhaust or RFL. Also Catless DP will help tremendously!! big power with a catless dp

I had it with the stock downpipe and it was nice and aggressive without being too loud. Now that is has a Z54 and a catless downpipe, there is no sneaking in anywhere

Honestly go with a catless DP first and see how you like then do the rest of the exhaust

I think the best thing would be a catless dp or maybe a highflow would give you a louder sound

Yup.

Catless is perfect of you don't need to worry about smog.

Cold start idle on stock tune is a bit annoying but that only lasts 20 seconds.

It doesn't drone and sounds completely civilized until you punch it and make sounds boost.

That's what I'm thinking of doing with my car, sounds weird but I think I outgrew the loud exhaust phase. After having my coupe parked so long I forgot how loud it really is and want something that is more quiet and loud when I hit it. But lets see what happens

Zzp catted downpipe with muffler delete then had a obx muffler welded on. Lasted 2 years and isn't obnoxious.

Go catless first. If it still isn't loud enough, you can do a muffler delete to keep the cost down, or get a nice 3" catback. I have the turboxs rfl, and it is a nice deep rumble, but you can still keep it quiet if you need to.

that would be your safest bet because that is the biggest difference. then you can slowly do other stuff. muffler delete and if thats not loud enough or what you want buy the exhaust.

I love my full mpx exhaust with catless dp. No drone, quiet till you give her lots of throttle.

Wait until you get that bigger turbo on there, still quiet when cruising, but it definitley got louder when going wide open.

OP, I'll agree with the others, get a downpipe first. If it's not enough, then start looking elsewhere.
