I currently have a 06 2.4ss and thinking of picking up a parts car a 05 ls 2.2 is it worth it ,I’m not sure about motor parts I know body and interior parts will and suspension just not sure about motor parts I know muffler obviously but anything else or just look for another 2.4 , mine runs strong so really don’t need it but if parts are interchangeable I’m gonna take it off any help wo

A few parts of the 2.2 engine will fit on the 2.4, but not much.

You'd probably be better selling the entire 2.2 engine and then buying what replacement parts you need vs hanging onto the engine as the just in case. The transmissions are the same between 2.2 and 2.4 for both manual and automatic
