Noob to Turbos

Good evening everyone,
I recently purchased a 2009 Silver Metallic Chevy Cobalt SS (G85.) I am coming from the W-Body platform. Here are the picture of my last car: Impala SS - Album on Imgur

Have a couple pictures here ( The best part is that it is a sedan. )
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

Really clean car here what it has: Currently has 98k. With in the past 5k it's gotten 4 new tires Continental extreme contact 235/40zr18's, front pads, rotors and calipers. New brembos not reman, and GM stage 1 sensors (3.3 bar). With in the past 1k it's gotten a bad mab catless down pipe with a 3" qtp electric cutout, ottp stage 2 rotated trans mounts and a zzp front motor mount. 5k hid's for head lamps and fog lamps. The car's tuned with hp tuners through E Tuned Performance.

I also have but haven't installed (came with car) yet a clutch master fx400 clutch fidanza flywheel redline trans fluid GM tob.

Next step is to read, research, and understand these cars. At this moment I know everything about L67 and nothing about the LNF. I am hoping this is the right spot to do it.

Thanks,
Michael

I have to disagree with no hids in stock housing on the Cobalt. I have retros but in the stock housing, oncoming traffic had no problems. If anything test it out and decide from there. IMO not all cars have horrible light output with hids in stock housings.

I know retros aren't stock housing. What I was trying to say was "when" I had stock headlights with hids they weren't blinding to oncoming traffic and they lit up the road well. However I've had some cars that were horrible with hids in stock housings, for example my 2g DSM. Horrible light output.
