Hi I built an offroad buggy using an Ecotec.
Hoping to get some info here.

I just used a stock L61 some day hoping that I can build a nice motor to drop in but for now running is more important.

I did a balance shaft delete while the engine was out, I have a lathe so that mod was basically free.
I bolted it to an AX-15 transmission out of jeep using the Sky bell housing.
Ecotec pressure plate, 84 camaro clutch just matched up dia and splines, spaced out the jeep throw out bearing.
The engine cam from a 04 ION, the intake/harness came from a 04 Cavalier, EFILive didn't work on the saturn.
So I have the P11 ecm I sent it out to someone on the Ecotecforum just to make it a stand alone, but that site doesn't seem to be working right now.

I also inserted a hex in the cam so I can run a P/S pump off the cam.
I also have a P/S pump in the A/C location, I Tee them together, with full hydro steering you need a lot of flow to steer fast.

Nothing else out of the ordinary.

Couple things I'm looking for here.
1) More HP and RPM, anyone have a P11 tune that bumps up the RPM limit and/or give a little extra power.
Before I go crazy with engine mods.
2) Spare computer.
3) Cam shaft with the hex machined in. I install the insert GM has a part number, the press fit was a little loose so I had to weld it in. I would like to have one for a spare.

Other than that always interested to see what else I can improve on the engine.
