Slowbalt SS
Slowbalt SS
Midwest (Indiana) guy here, just bought my first Slowbalt at a repo auction. A quick little car with a few problems. Joined to hopefully figure out how to troubleshoot/replace a few things on my car:
- Hazard Switch (The button)
- A/C Vent (Central console on the left side broken)
- Sunroof Switch (Doesn't work, trim piece also damaged)
- Key Fob

all super simple and easy parts to replace. my grandparents live near you i think
theres a how to on fixing the sunroof switch somewhere on here... while the dashboard is off you can replace the vent and button at the same time.

I searched for a how-to as far as my switch not working, and haven't found anything (Switch is in-tact and wired but sunroof does not work in addition to that small bezel piece being broken)
Also, do I really have to pull the dash to replace that vent? Was secretly hoping the bezel just popped out from around the radio.

I requested an add to the Ecotec group also
I initially bought this car at auction simply for a quick resell as it's in remarkably good condition, but after driving it for Spring Break, I've come to really like the car and now I'm unsure if I want to get rid of it...haha.
The engine bay is immaculate on it and I was incredibly surprised to see that a "repossession" car had a proper Stage 2 tune on it and everything was done right. This is before I even wiped crevices down and all that to make it look good.

Welcome! Not sure what exactly is wrong with your key fob but this link has been a great help to many of us
