Tryna Start modding!

I have an 07 SS N/A .. I'm trying to mod her without forced induction yet. I was thinking about headers and a larger throttle body. Any suggestions?

Cheapest route for power is supercharging it.

Supercharged swap isn't hard to do the only thing will be tuning

And if you buy hptuners you can get a remote tune too

What he said.

Patience is key with a build, remember that as well. If you rush it and do a shitty job, you'll get shitty results. But, it is definitely doable. And if you don't have the tools to do it, save and buy some, it's always good to have them around afterwards.

Welcome to the site.

You can reach 200hp with bolt-ons, premium fuel and a good tune.

- Intake system
- Header/downpipe
- 2.5" catback
- Premium fuel (93 octane)
- A good tune (hp tuners)

These should get you right around 200whp. This is also a good start in case you want to supercharge it since you can leave all of these mods on except the intake. There is a ton of info on here about supercharging the 2.4 and it helps alot. I'm actually considering doing this. Hope this helps.

It's gonna take more than that to get a N/a balt to reach 200. Check out this guys build https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-4l...oday-n-317604/ and he has all of that and then some and still hasn't cracked 178 without any additional power adders. IMO it's not very cost effective to go for the power N/a when boost would get you there cheaper in a sense.

yea I saw that thread, and he made 182whp/ 178wtq on a bad tune from a guy that wasn't experienced with cobalts. He said he's getting another tune soon.

also I said these mods would get him "around 200" and I would consider 182 to be around 200 lol
