I recently bought and 06 cobalt ss/tc, I have been looking into getting a roof rack for kayaks and I wasn't sure if anyone knew the weight limit for the roof? Idk if that is a dumb question but just figured this would be the best place to find the answer. If someone could help me that would be great. Thank you.

Is it an 06 or an SS/TC? 06 should be an SS/SC unless it's turbo swapped.

For the roof rack question it really depends on which rack system you get. I had a Yakima Q-Tower setup for a couple days a few years back that listed 165lbs according to their website. Yakima Product Information Tool I believe it, I climbed up there right after installing it and it held me fine @ 155lbs.
