100 shot??

well as of now im runnin a 75 wet shot and im really happy with the off the line part but after bout 70-80mph its not pullin as hard as i thought it should. anyone think a 100 shot would hurt my lil 2.2? now i know hack is gonna say go for it since he's runnin a 90 shot now but im lookin for other opinions too.

i think ill be fine with 100 shot , all im going to say is watch your rockers and make sure you have the correct jets , remember the cobalt runs way rich till redline then it starts leaning out. know your car, get it dynoed and dont LET PEOPLE DRIVE YOUR CAR

Do you have the 2.4 manifold? I bet that would help higher up with the nitrous added on top of that.

You got it.

I imagine that the extra kick from the 75 shot will really shine with the 2.4 manifold in the upper RPMS.

the only thing i would be starting to worry about is your fuel system. if it can keep up with the demands. i know your running a wet set up but still. your fuel pump still has to play catch up.

A good rule of thumb is 20hp shot per cylinder. 4x20=80 shot. Thats about the highest you should go

i've thought about the fuel demand for a bigger shot. top end right now dont seem to put out to well on the 75 shot im runnin now for some reason. im sure it has somethin to do with the way the fuel cuts back to keep it from pullin hard at higher speeds though. anyone think a tune from terifca would help that problem for the top end pull? when i say top end im not talkin bout tryin to spray to go way over 100mph either. im talkin bout when im sprayin from the 60 to 100 range.

its recomended by most niitro companiesthat you do no more then 20HP per cyl on a stock motor. Im only going to be doin 50 shot on my G5 GT 2.4L. And its getting tuned by a laptop setup, no dynos around here unfortunately. But they said if i use it without the tune i will blow the engine even on a small shot because the rpms on the window switch are not setup and the air fuel ratio needs to be setup with the nitro .

also a 2.4TB with a tune would keep your car going hella strong above 4k RPMS

That was the result of a malfunction though.

If you got a wideband and a progressive controller (try dynotune) you should have no problem.
