nice....so just to get things straight.

most people say its fairly safe to run a 50 shot on the gm stage 2 tune.

so with the addition of water/meth injection, would it be possible to run a 75 shot on the gm stage 2 tune without having to retard timing and change it?

 

so all this bein said would i actually benefit using water/meth on my 2.2 with n2o?

 

Could you run a wet nitrous system with only water/meth adding the fuel and not running a fuel nozzle at all? I wonder what kind of gains you'd see from a 50shot of nitrous running meth instead of fuel?

 

about 25% less gain than you would see if you actually used the fuel also.. dont be dumb and use a wet kit without the wet. save your engine and use the fuel also...

 

I know where your trying to go with this. However, you would want to run the nitrous system as it was intended. However, I have scene many who will run a wet nitrous system and will push methanol through the fuel side of it. They will do this by using a smaller separate tank (filled with methanol) and separate pump to feed the fuel side (normally gasoline) of their nitrous system. T=Methanol is used as it is a high octane fuel and allows the use of more timing (less timing retard for the nitrous) in their tune.

Quite possibly yes. However, this would need to be verified on the dyno to be safe rather then assuming it is and going ahead with it. Remember, you can also vary the water methanol mix in the tank to add more fuel if needed.

By just adding a water meth system alone without retuning for it. No power gains/safety gains yes as this will substantially push the onset of detonation further away. Thereby allowing you to then put the timing back into your tune that you would normally retard for the nitrous.
