Why would the dealer call the cops? Wouldn't voiding your warranty be punishment enough? lol

most states its not aginst the law to have n20 in the car as long as you have a blow down tube in a hatch. or it is in the trunk. plus if there is no bottle when you take it in. theres no way they can do anything. but to answer your question. in a wet setup most people drill a hole in the intake. you cant take out the nossil after its installed. ... in short, it would be a bitch.

If a dealer calls the cops and says you have nitrous hooked up on your car you know what they will say?

There passing new laws here now because there were a few accidents, if you get caught racing car will be impounded and 10,000 fine no questions asked, if they find N0S car is impounded

The dealer was caught in a bind with the cops as they let a car come in for work with NOS and it was later in a accident flipped and killed 2, now I was told if they see N2O they will call and report you

There is two more laws coming out here I know one will be giving the cops the ability to impound cars and have the ability to state if you were speeding or Street racing. Not sure the other

My friend was did a donut in the parking lot one day and a cop see it and towed his car (how sick is that)

by the foot per strip in bc, iirc its $75/foot. same for dragging a bagged/hydro car.

i find it rather funny how the media hypes nitrous up to be some big magical thing. according to them, if you have nitrous, you must be a street racer. thing is, you get mabey 200hp from a bottle on a rwd v8 (say a street driven stang), what can you get from a turbo kit??? say you have a supercharged mustang with a fully built motor, comapre that to a dead stock d15 civic with a small nitrous shot, who is gonna be the big bad street racer and have the faster car to the media??? gonna be the civic. and the cops follow that logic because they dont understand it nitrous.

a couple years back i was riding with a buddy that had nitrous in his car, pretty much stock 92 z24, and he raced at the street legal races at the local track. he got pulled over at a drinking driving road block, they saw thw gauges and asked him to open the trunk, he did and there sat the nitrous bottle, with the line unhooked. they tried to impound the car, arrest him, acuse him of being a street racer. what it all came down to though was they are asuming all this stuff, there was no actual proof of any of anything, so they couldnt do anything.

its all a bunch of bs and if they actualy started looking at how nitrous works in depth and at modding cars, they would know nitrous isnt the end all thing. and most of the people causing street racing accidents were i am are kids whos parents bought them a fast stock car, or people who think there car is hot **** cause it has a couple basic mods.
