.035 should be fine. you can start at .040 and gap it down if there is any blow-out/miss present.

hey i just changed the plugs to the 3922's. I noticed a power loss when running the premium fuel but I also noticed a benift. Has anyone else had the 2 steps cold plugs get rid of the idle surge? Mines gone, I just noticed it now. just thought id add that

my gas mileage appears to go down sometimes too...I figured it was a combination of 91 octane and colder plugs but its necessary to run nitrous safely so I deal.

Still going atleast 250 miles before I get to 1/4 tank or slightly below so not that much of a biggie.

i bought the zex plugs and a 55 shot of n20. Holly ****! the car ran great. i drove it 2 hours home after the track and it seems to idle and run alot better. I would reccomend the zex plugs even without running n20. now this is only after 1 night and day but, seem to be good plugs

has any one tried just using the jet as an extra injector? Running just fuel and no nitrous?

it isn't going to disburse like you're thinking, the main reason that it does is because of the nitrous exiting at a high pressure and fanning out, so it mixes with the fuel then. if you ran just fuel it would just be a stream type dealy if not a series of long drips. boost wouldn't like it. look at how small the pintle of an injector is, then look at the fogger design, thats the difference/reason.

good to see someone thinking out side the box though

I tried it one day at the track and it ran about a tenth slower. I also found that my car pulled harder with the plugs gapped at 28, but then again I blew my **** up.

I put around 20 to 25 bottles threw my car before it blew up and used the ngk bkr7e. The only reason my car blew up was , I finally got the damn thing to hook and it bogged down and went boom.

what was your bottle pressure? if it pulled better with .028 you might have had blowout, but I'd venture to guess your bottle pressure was a bit too high if you got blowout past .030 on a stock build.

for a 2.2 those are 3 step colder, 5's are stock heat range. it also isn't super necessity to run iridium either, which those are. thanks for the concern though, it's nice to see people at least concerned and recommending to go colder than tell someone to run stock plugs and detonate at the strip.

I'm going to see if the stock 2.2 and 2.4 plugs are the same range. if they are then those are 3 steps colder for the 2.4 also. if not I'll put up which ones are which.

I always run the bottle between 975-1050. after the purge it sits at about 1000. I also was on a new bottle and I put 12 pounds in a 10 pound bottle. That makes it a little lean coming out.

eh a little but not a whole lot, sounds more like it reacted like a timing advance from being gapped so far down but I don't know that doesn't seem right.. I've put 12lbs in and run 900-1100psi without a problem, but I also am running a size larger fuel jet for safety and a few other reasons.

I was running a 20 jet instead on the 24 and when I poped the motor I put back the 24 jet. I also had 8 inch lines to. It it hard as hell with those short lines.
