Nitrous is wicked.The only problem is that it is addictive. Once you spray you don't want to drive around off spray. Up here it costs $100 to fill a bottle. As for dry or wet I am a bit leary of running a wet kit on the sc cars with the way the intercooler is I think it might seperate the fuel and poss lean out. I have a direct port kit waiting for install but I can't seem to figure out where to put the nozzles. So if anyone is running a direct port system on there 2.0 car please pm me.

so many peeps think wet is best, i cant help but think dry is fine if you have hpt and tune a lot.

spaz, do you have any solid reasoning why n2o is no good wet on a 2.0?

fake power lol... I guess the only real way to make power would mean being n/a like yourself. No thanks I'd rather be the 2.2 that's running low 14's at the track with a 75 shot. Not knocking the guys not spraying but I don't see what's idiotic about an extra 75 hp.

I plan on putting a 50 shot on my car before the end of December hopefully, I've got all the **** next to me, I've just got to get my clutch in.

I had it on the Cobalt, but sold it before I actually hooked up the switch and filled the tank. Why I don't know. Was scared of going boom. I do plan on running a 50 shot when I upgrade turbos to help with lag.

Im on my 3rd bottle, 26k miles, car runs like a champ. When I spray, the boost climbs to 19~20 lbs. This is probably why it comes with the dual end plate.

dry is fine if you have the ability to tune for it, but for simplicity sake wet is better.

I'm not even sure how you would control the amt. of fuel being dumped by the injectors on/off the spray unless you just had two completely seperate tunes you'd have to load in HPT.

Nitrous is a must i'm really glad i got it everything is still fine im only sprayin the 50shot im scared the internals are pretty much maxes out i should be around 320whp on spray considering my dyno was 268 whp.. I also got my purge rigged up today ***** sicks i didnt mess with it for the longest time i kinda forgot about it.. cold weather and nitrous is freakin insane no traction at 60 haha

you guys that are worried about going lean on air fuel when spraying ever consider using meth/water injection with it? It boosts your octane a ton, it is pretty much impossible to go lean while using it,. that means BIGGER SHOT! im going to be going from a 75 shot to a 100 shot if the dyno tuner gives the ok.

I cant wait to see my dyno then^^^. seriously. il have a 2.7 and meth injection, lightweight flywheel and stage 3 clutch,and a ported blower. I was hoping for close or right at 300 before spray, then a 100 shot! I might be close! we have very similer mods....

yea i will do a sound clip for you.. i love my exhaust setup couldnt be happier it backcrackles like a srt-4 **** sounds sooooo sick... i wouldnt trade my exhaust for nething... nitrous is deff awesome i love it even though i can never catch traction that will all change when i get some dr's

Check the vid in my sig, my setup is 3" catless and GMPP sport, with a ported stock header. I'll get more vids if you need. Car sounds sick.

yes and no...

Its cool to run people, and I don't care if I lose, so I always have fun. But, there are 1200hp street cars here, and no matter what you do, there's always someone faster. Makes me worry that even with 400+hp when I finish the Balt, I'll still be stuck in the middle.

I run a 2 stage nitrous set up. Stage 1 is 3,000rpms to 6,000 rpms 50hp dry shot controlled by a window switch. Stage 2 is 4,200rpms to 6,000rpms 50hp dry and 75hp wet at the same time for 125hp.

the car is in stage 2 from second gear on, here are some pictures of my set up.
