Alright i need some help on figuring out why my air/fuel gauge is saying that i am running lean, but the car runs perfectly fine. At WOT my buddy looked at the gauge and he said i was at like 10.9 or so and maybe even a little higher than that.(Cant physically put it all the way down cuz of the brand new clutch). But when i am just like normal throttle it spikes up to like 15.0 and it flashes red and when i am in neutral it sometimes spikes all the way up to 16.0. What numbers should i be running at?? What i have done to this car is 60 lbs injectors, 2.8" pulley, OTT tune, cai, step colder ngk plugs, and bigger front mount intercooler. It is an 07' with only 14,425 miles on it. Also, i went to my buddies shop today and scanned the computer cuz the CEL was on and when i scanned it, it was a random cylinder misfire. So, i clear it and it was fine all the way home. I take my buddy out for a quick ride and the CEL come back on. The car runs perfect and no hesitation but when i come to a stop the idle goes up and down sometime. If you guys could help me out and give me some advice on this that would be great.

 

10.9 is actually a little rich from what i understand i think the sweet spot for these cars is like 11.2-11.4
but if your just cruzing on the highway it should be anywere between 14.8-15.6
now if your seeing 15s at WOT then you have a problem and should get retuned

i have a simlar setup as you and im running 15.2 while cruzing and about 10.5 (winter tune) so i think your ok
as for the CEL im not really sure

 

Alright cool, yeah i dont know too much about the air/fuel thing. But cool, yeah i will have to see what i actually run when i am on the highway. But that reading that i took was from second to third gear so i dont know if that makes a difference.

 

My 2009 ss/tc Idles at 14.3 f/a ratio.. But I really know nothing of it all
