Also note that the new GT's from 2005+ are all supercharged. They dropped the GTP name when the GXP came out to prevent confusion, and instead supercharged all Grand Prix GTs from that point on. So it's the same thing as before.....you can only tell fromt he outside because they have that little 1" square GM badge on the fender and the other ones dont.
I know it's possible, but my GTP ran 14.1 int eh 1/4, so it's not always a possibility that you can outrun them. because I don't know 2.4's running that fast.

Wrong... my dad has an 06 Pontiac Grand Prix GT.... no Supercharger??? Where do you get these ideas?
Check it out to clarify

my roommate has an 05 GTP with the Comp G package and before i got my stage 2 i maybe pulled a car on him. It was very close, and that was going 40-100. After the stage 2 i pulled about 3 cars on him. Those cars are quick.

LMAO I was killing GTP's with my 2002 Z24 cavalier.... the only way that grand prix could even come close is if theres a lot of stuff done to it or big shot of spray. ask him next time if he did anything to the trans cause in stock form they dont take kindly to a lot of power without tuning and shift kit/tq converter

I used to have a supercharged GTP I had a CAI and a tune from DHP it was pretty quick for a 4 door family car lol, nothing that would throw you back in the seat or anything but i won a few races. I wouldn't know the comparison to an ss/sc i've never drove one but I imagine they are much quicker being such a small car. When my brother worked at a dealer he drove ss/sc's a lot and he said it'd probably whoop my gtp's ass lol. Oh well i was goin for looks more than anything i had 20's on it so there wasn't much point in buyin a ton of performance ****, especially having 200,000+ miles
