Hello

new cobalt owner. 2006 SS. just wondering, do i have stock forged internal. i was thinkin a smaller pully with exaust and a dyno flash, but i don't wanna run more boost unless i've got forged internals?

welcome to the site!

Take your time modding, just keep building piece by piece and you'll see some good gains.
On stock internals, its said that we can only get up to about 300whp before you gotta start changing stuff. Have Fun

how much boost?

you can definitly do those things w/o replacing the internals. but you need some supporting mods as well

Welcome! Look into getting the gm stage 2, GMPP exhaust and CAI and you will notice a nice difference. Good luck!

You'll be fine with doing the GM Stage 2 for example with an exhaust. Like said above, 300 whp is a pretty good mark for changing internals. I blew my headgasket at 19.5 psi at 271 whp/260 wtq, just a little fyi for you haha.

i was also wondering, why only 6500 rpm rev limit, when every other eco car i've drivin does 7500 no problem. is it safe to move the rev limiter up? and i'm gonna dyno flash next week maybe. i'll let you all know if it goes well.
