So since CED is still in business after some crazy changes I think its time we start talking about the spring midwest meet...
CED's new location = Rockenbach Chevrolet in Grays Lake IL
Hoffa - you need to get your ass in gear so that car car is all ready for April, it will come faster than you think.
Justin - if your still alive you need to come again, I promise no speeding tickets this time
P - your ass is riding with me so be prepared to fall asleep due to the slower speeds this time around.
Dev - your ass better be coming this time.
Cuda - Chris you need to join us in meeting the rest of the midwest css.net members.
And the rest of you guys who chat up in here need to come too.
No actual info has been set in stone for the spring meet yet but I still think its a good idea to think about it
I'll be filming this time around but don't count on anything to badass.
Also, I think we should require at least one blow up doll, animal or whatever per car this time

Hoffa I search the new CED location and it looks pretty nice...
Things we need to make sure for the next midwest meet:
1) Hotel with pool
2) An organized car cruise (non hwy roads, the tolls split a large group up really fast)
3) Eating arrangements for dinner
4) Smaller group drive down to Chi-Town maybe?
5) other request
6) other request
7) other request
I think over all we just need a better schedule of events that are going on ahead of time so that everyone is on the same page throughout the weekend.

We can always do it for ya, it should take about a weekend. we'll do it cheaper than you can find a beater for. hell talk to your tuner about a base map and pay for the license and i'll even through that on for you
If your doing just a blower on the car with everything from a LSJ.

i know you would like that too
the thing thats going to be the longest is the wiring of everything and the plumbing of the h/e (i has a dual pass endplate)

i actually liked meeting with eveyrone from WI and then cruising down. the dinner arrangements would be for saturday. trying to get something together for friday when peoople are comin into town might be a hassle.
i will only ask for a pool if there will be jailbait present.

And here are some photos from a recent drive:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/bmw328d...7606776960297/
Two meeting options:
1. 8:00am at Rainbow Foods, 7282 S. East Point Douglas Rd in Cottage Grove,
MN. Take Hwys 10 & 61 southeast past 494, exit on 80th Street and turn left,

on your left. The group will leave at 8:10am.
2. 9:15am at Bogus Creek Café and Bakery, N2049 Spring Street, Stockholm,
WI. From the southeast corner of 494, it’s a scenic 60-minute drive to
Stockholm. Take Hwys 10 and 61 south and east out of the Twin Cities. Turn
left to stay on 10 East, heading toward Prescott. Cross over the drawbridge
in Prescott and turn right onto Wisconsin Hwy 35 South. Pass through
Diamond Bluff, cross Hwy 63, go through Bay City and Maiden Rock. In
beautiful downtown Stockholm, turn left onto County J. Bogus Creek is one
block up on your left. We will be having a fabulous breakfast at Bogus
Creek, served by the lovely and talented proprietor, Colleen. The tour will
leave Stockholm at approximately 10:15am after the drivers meeting.
After 185 miles of the coolest curves and hills and a few comfort stops, the
tour will end at about 2:30pm with a late lunch served by the always
charming Guy and Nancy at Hansen’s Hold-Up Bar and Grill (Mapquest: S2428
State Hwy 95, Arcadia, WI) about 12 miles north of Fountain City, WI.
Breakfast and lunch are pay-your-own. Bring CASH because they don’t always
accept credit cards. There is no charge for the tour itself. We will have
three groups: “Spirited” will start first, followed by "Intermediate" and
then "Mellow". Everyone should pick a group where they can drive at a
comfortable and safe pace for the tour.
Please bring your own FRS/GMRS walkie-talkie. You can buy good inexpensive
radios at Wal-Mart, Menards, Best Buy, Costco, Gander Mountain, etc. Look
for at least “18 mile” or “20 mile” on the package. Loaner radios will NOT
be available for this tour.

- if you go through those picture links you'll see my car chasing a Noble M400 around.
- Sounds like a guy on the LS1GTO forum is sadly mistaken that his RWD will rip it up on these tours...Ive seen guys like that come out time and time again only to leave the tour early.
