sounds spendy but thats the first place i asked. is there anyone or anywhere else i should consider?
the reason behind the high cost is because HPT. To license a vehicle takes credits from HPT's. usually takes 2 credits to unlock a car and credits are $50 a piece. So thats $100 before they even touch your car.
$350 for tuning on the dyno is not bad, seeing as they charge $150 per hour for tuning, they are estimating a little over 2 hours for getting the car on the dyno strapped down and hooked up to the weather station and tuning, which is common because 1). they probably do not do a lot of tuning to these cars. 2.) when it comes to dyno tuning, what ever can go wrong will go wrong (fouling plugs and what not)

DB performance is one of the BEST tuning shops in this state, and one of the ONLY ones with HPT.

you can try Hi-tech motorsports, but I don't know if they have HPT.. I know that RS motors in burnsville, Modern Automotive Performance in plymouth, Elite, and Full blown motorsports do not have HPT at all. so your SOL there.

Actually i contacted RS motors and they said this, "I know HP tuners has software for that car. I've talked to them this past summer but not enough demand at the time.
Tuning is done hourly. If you choose us to tune this we will take care of you since we'd like to market it also."

might be a good option

imo do what sput did, buy the hpt then you can always have it. I would assume a place would still tune even if you had the hpt and let them use it, so better financially specially how those credits work and unlocking your year of cobalt.

last night I played COD4 with MN's MLG team going to vegas next week to a cod4 tourny. My boss man from brag game rights is sponsoring them! Man got some good tips but they @#$@#$#$ were amazing at the game. one dude played public xbox live, and it was 3 vs 6-8 and he took the whole team out hahah. Maybe i'll be making their custom controllers...

lol I would love to see you even attempt it. I killed some when we were just f'ing around but they are insane! They played the tourny up here and didnt lose once, no joke dude, the pro's do not play on the public live. They all play private matches cuz after a round no one wants to play them. They will be in vegas next week and you can watch them from mlg's stream from their site..

Hey guys I have a quick question do you leave your CAI on during the winter? This last little winter storm thing we had made me scared to drive my car. Should I be concerned?

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH nerdgasm. I just got invited to go to vegas with them!!! its not 100% yet but they want me to be there as the sponsor and to meet people...f yeah, hopefully the boss can make this happen!

xchase - I left my vibe's cai on and it was lowered in the winter. Its snow so there less chance of hyrdo lock as it really wouldnt be submerged unless you drove into a lake or puddle...idk cold ass air = good
