Jeff, I wish I knew those roads better out there. I would have been able to keep up with you better. But every time I heard "blind turn over crest" or "suprise stop sign" over the radio, i would slow down.

and that damn gravel in every corner started to **** me off. Im not used to sliding in my car yet. A couple more times out on those tours, and ill be much faster.

I was way too fast for the slow group and just not fast enough for the fast group.

 

i'd love to make it out on some of those next year, they look and sound like they are so much fun.

edit.. i forgot a question. i take it that you haven't had any problems with that camera mount, because your still using it? do you like it? do you trust it? and would you recommend it?

 

It works great and has held on the side of my car at over 140mph...After that I knew I could trust it. It been through 3 road tours and I've never had a problem with it yet…note that every time we stopped for a few min Id just jump on and give it a few pumps on the vacuum.

To me it was well worth it, now Id just like to get a better camera

see we are looking for a In-car set-up for our Ice race/rally-x car, which the suction cup would be allowed, but i think its a good idea for other things that we do

 

The Evo that goes on our tours had a in car set-up.

 

So when does every one have available to hit up somewhere for a beer again? we need to do that again, it was fun.
