and what combo of header/dp would go good with that exhaust? im looking at the CA header and XTC dp from cobalt addiction to put in with the exhaust. good choices? comments anyone?

i love tax returns
Borkowski's - nuff said... #%*!@#*$-ers...

I got GMPP Touring exhaust (along w/Stg2 & GMPP exhaust manifold) from Crate Engine Depot - talk w/Tom - ordered on a Friday afternoon, got it on Monday - good guy, easy to work with - my 2 cents...

I'm looking to get the XTC 2.5 dp w/hiflow cat... not sure when though...

I got the GMP Performance from CED when they had a group buy going on and got it in like 2-3 days. Ordered tues/wed, had it fri, installed sat. I'm think the CA header and XTC 2.5" DP w/Cat (even though there's no inspection in MN, I don't want it loud as hell).

And now since I'm holding off on rims til I actually have money for them, I'll take $300 that I was going to put towards rims, and buy more than likely an Escort 8500. I like to go fast sometimes, even in my 2.2! lol.

does the gmpp exhaust come only in 2.5 or does it come in 3'' as well? im going with the CA 4-1 header w/ the XTC downpipe (w/cat) and gmpp sport exhaust (i heard it off the CED website and started droolling..... ). the only question is whether i get a 2.5 or 3'' outlet with my downpipe.

would 3'' piping make that much difference anyways??

lastly... how did you all get your system(s) installed?? i'm figuring that i'm going to have to go in for this one and would like to know approximately how much more money i need to set aside.

can't wait for spring!!!

(i'm bringin sexy back )

I wasn't up to par/had the right tools to get my car jacked up (properly) so I had it installed (GMPP Exhaust) at the Midas off of Douglas drive in Crystal. It was $90 after tax and everything.

I'm gonna try to do my Header/DP with some help, but I might need to take it in.

I believe the GMP exhaust (Touring and Performance) are both 2.25. If you get the CA header and mate it up with a 2.5 XTC DP it should bolt up to GMP exhaust. (I PM'd Kenny about this; CA Owner, and he said it would all bolt up fine to a 2.2. And since all balts are idealy the same, it would work for all!

If you all need a place to do this type of work for cheap it's called Modern Automotive Performance out of Plymouth. $60 bucks an hour for anything..even custom fab work. They installed my exhaust in under an hour.

They have an in ground DynoJet and do everything from headgaskets to complete turbo set-ups to simple bolt-ons. Plus the owner (Chris) is a young guy and he's cool as ****. They have winter dyno time (they don't do tuning yet) for only $50 an hour. I ripped off 238whp about a month ago with them. Cool guys all around.

old man winter kicked spring square in the jiblets. Spring is in the fetal position in the corner leaving old man winter to wreak havoc.
