If you buy the halo ODST you get a beta code for reach multiplayer. They released no info on Reach at E3 though.

Oh you bet your ass I did. I was waiting in line to play, but they let people play so long it would of taken 2 hours or more so I just watched. Its just like the others but MUCH better graphics and cooler enemies to fight. Scale huge buildings and all sorts of that gow stuff. Did you see the trailer for it? its just awesome looking.

Okay so I got a bunch of people saying why get a SS etc... well if I got a evo it would only be a MR and they cost **** loads, so does the sti. I hate VW and the gti is slow. the cooper S is a sweet car but not fast enough and expensive even a used one is almost 20k. I need fwd so I get good mileage driving for work. And it needs a warranty so used evo's/sti's are pretty much out of warranty. It has to handle well too. I would mod slightly but nothing crazy.

So its really then down to a new ms3 or a SS as ford has nothing
So I do love the ms3, I really hate to part with it but its wrecked now and I dont trust the airbags or the rigidity of the front end.

SS-
no hid's
dash is meh
no heated seats
2 doors
ugly headlights

ms3 -
heavier than a SS
cost more for a new one as they didnt depreciate like the ss
rod blowing engine (not really a big deal as it isnt prevalent but I live 2 hours from a dealer so any warranty work is a ******* chore)
I already have the snow tires
Already have the performance parts

Ugh...what a pita to swap to a new car as I would have to get new wheels for winter because the SS cant fit 16" steelies on the front, or so I'm told. I guess I'm still torn between keeping my ms3 or switching, but I feel its best to switch for safety reasons.

ryan, did you get started on that yet???

I'm currently planning on the stage kit depending on price and an intake if the stage kit does not come with one. I'm going to try to wait until warranty is up for anything else, but people generally laugh when I say that.

Also, my headlights are no longer ugly. :P They still aren't HID's though and they will permanently look dirty unless I open them up again.

the 4 door SS looks ugly and I dont think it handles nearly as well as the coupe.

They looks dusty when the lights are on. It's from not cleaning the insides well enough before I put them back together. It's not a huge deal.

There's the latest update on the stage kit. Three more months of waiting.

The “Stage 1” kit will come complete with a reflash (that must be dealer installed) and a few MAP sensors that will let your PCM more accurately read the higher boost pressures present in the upgrade. These goodies will net you 275hp and the new reflash will also remove the “learn-down” of the factory PCM so that all of your aftermarket modifications will be allowed to make the power you expect them to make. We are very excited how this kit is playing out and think that once you wrap your head around how much this is going to open up the possibilities of performance for the LNF, you will be as well. Efforts are being pushed hard to have this kit available to all of you by the end of June.

The “Stage 2” kit will consist of everything in the Stage 1 kit, plus a new inlet duct and air cleaner. This will let your Cobalt breath a little easier and because of this, the kit will put down 290hp. Since the new hardware must be tested to the tried and true tests of GMPP, the Stage 2 kit will take a little longer to reach your local GM parts counter, about 3 months, but when it does you can rest assured you’ll be rolling with the best parts around.

Oh sweet at least they are doing that. Actually thats really good coming from the automaker. I of course would have to get the full stage 2 :P

good luck p either way you go you'll still have a nice car but i understand your debate there.

hoffa - the new ss balts come with recaro cloth seats so no heated seats anymore

and you could always get the hid projection halos like i just got for $180. they're nice and well priced

So my main question is, how big is the turbo inlet pipe, and does the stage 2 kit come with full inlet pipe AND intake. The inlet pipe, is the pipe from the turbo to the intake tubing. Like my ms3, the inlet pipe is separate and very restricted. 3 freaking months...ugh. But if the GM intake is a good one and decently priced no reason not to get it. The hahn intake sucks I hear. Did you consider the charge pipe upgrade?

Devin do you have pics? I cant see them at work...but I'd like to see them. Are they like the gen1/2/3 ones with the leds in them? Id like a more plain/stock looking headlamp with projectors nothing too fancy.

Is your car still for sale on craigslist?

If so, has anyone made any offers yet?

well... that's just ghey.

you know P, you could get an SS/TC coupe and persuade your life partner to trade seats from his SS.
