Did they not make a size that would fit? Spacers are a bad idea if you want to race it hard on twisties imo. They look really good though....mmm sexy good.

The company I bought them from confirmed they fit on the TC/SS. They brought a car in and put the wheels on. The top of the caliper has clearance but the bottom doesn't. The wheel is flush against the hub or whatever, but only hits on the bottom part of the caliper. I'm taking it the a wheel shop just to make sure now.

I'm in Roseville. There's a Goodyear shop by my office that really takes care of people and tried the wheels for free. The left side rubs the bottom of the caliper and the right side wheel will spin but will most likely hit when lugnuts are put on it. Looks like I'm going to be out $100 for shipping these things back and still have no wheels for this summer.

I think all the aftermarket wheels for the SS/TC are having to be used with spacers...you may just want to keep them and put on a good quality spacer. We do have a few members on here with SS/TC using SSR wheels for track driving and they seam to be using a certain spacer w/o any problems so you may want to look into that as well.

So I think I'm going to go with 3mm spacers. I found the Ultraleggera wheels off tirerack and sorta like them, but not enough to switch and spend $1400 on wheels. That red lip on the Tenzo's just look too good.

I've seen a couple of your posts on them. They are only $400 bucks more than my Tenzo's and Tirerack says they fit. Granted, the place I got my Tenzo's said they fit too. Maybe my car is broken. I just think I'll regret getting spacers.

Local place has OZ wheels. Hopefully can get a test fit.

I agree, but I'd rather have all black rims with the option of painting/powdercoating than running spacers. I talked to Samaritan Tire in Minnetonka and they carry OZ wheels. They are the same price as Tirerack and if they don't fit I'm not out any money with them. I ordered them and they should be here in a 2-3 days.

Yes I agree they would be better than running spacers...Only if you plan on getting them red lipped powder coated otherwise ill have to paint them when u not look

ahahhaha this new civic Si caught me at a red light, I had looked over and thought it was a girl...but she was in the passenger seat it was some "cool guy" with his lady. Well we take off and i start slow see him starting to floor it so while spinning through 2nd and 3rd (on snow tires) wait for him at the next red light...this time I let him get ahead, spin through 1st, 2nd, miss shift 3rd, spin through 3rd and am lengths ahead. slow down to the limit, he flys up next to me so I shift into 3rd waiting to hear the honda horn nothing...so i tap the gas a few times nothing so I fly by him to make my left turn...mmmm his gf wanted on this wagon haha stupid honda's let the FI's play with real power.

Jeff check out www.woot.com today, they have a 720p polaroid video recorder... maybe be a ok camera for car mount

I merged onto 280 right next to a Civic Si. There was too much traffic to screw with him though.

I would never seriously race in the winter. I just wanted to gun it up to the speed limit and see what he did.
