If I was free I would totally be interested in helping/learning about the supercharger install. I work weekdays, and I'm going to a convention this weekend oh well.
Another thing I was wondering is whether it makes more sense to sell my 2.4 and buy an SS/TC cause it has a good suspension and traction control or if it's smarter to just keep my car and turbo/supercharge it since I know it's been treated pretty well.

my sympathy to you in this heat good sir
side note: you cant get one of those flexible magnet headed things in the hole to retrieve it I'm assuming?
I tried the magnet thing, broke 2 of them. Tried unmounting engine and tranny to pull apart just a bit, couldnt find the bolt. If anyone is free tomorrow from 6 pm to whenever and could help me take the engine out enough to get in the bellhousing, ill love you forever and buy you a beer when finished...

Is this not uncommon? My 2nd gear just decided to stop working the other day, I'm assuming the synchros are shot. I can down shift into it, but the second I give any gas while in gear, it just pops right out into neutral.
I just got power slot rotors and new brake pads. Hopefully with a little brake quiet these won't squeal like the stock ones did. Also my rotors were badly warped.
I'm going to save up a little money before boosting the car. Leaning towards the ZZP stage 2 turbo at the moment.
Do I need boost gauges? Since my car is a 2.4 it doesn't come with any spots for gauges, but I suppose I could get a new pillar. If the gauges are important, what pillar and gauges do you recommend?

yes you need boost guage. get zzp's triple pillar..
you will absolutely need boost and wideband gauges. i would suggest maybe an interceptor if you have the money. gauges are VERY important, don't try to budget build.

Im picking up my next project tomorrow its a 96 cummins 2wd, clean as it can be, a 92 year old guy had it before me. Im going to just drive it for now and replace the trani for a ATS and bump the power up with the stock turbo and injectors. Then winter comes around its game on. Cant wait!
