Painting/Powder Coating Wheels?

Hey guys, I posted a while back asking if anyone knew a good paint shop that'd be able to do some striping for me. Well I'm back, but this time I'm trying to find someplace where I can have my stock 18 inchers painted or powder coated black. I've been doing google searches for like a month now and I've yet to find even one place that'll give me a decent price. 100 dollars a rim? I'm sorry, I've had relatives have all four done for $100 when I was living in California.

I'm also not against doing it myself, but I've got -zero- experience painting anything, so I doubt I'd be able to pull it off. Anyone around here have experience working at a paint shop that could help me paint 'em up?

Motorsports Powder Coating in Delavan. I have seen their work at a swap meet and it looks good. It is probably about an hour drive from Milwaukee. Here is a link to their info and if you choose them I could help you get there cause it is kinda tricky and hidden.

Ooh sweet, I'll give them a call tomorrow. Once I figure everything out I'll give you a shout if you still want to head up there.

Sorry for not updating sooner, but I've been having trouble contacting them. Every time I call I don't get an answer. I finally just went ahead and left a message. I've been talking to a buddy of mine and I may just end up painting the wheels with him over one of these upcoming weekends. If I do go that rout I'll definitely give you guys a play-by-play with pictures. We're putting in a new sound system sometime next week (all new speakers and a sub) as we already stuck a 7" Jensen motorized In-dash in her last weekend.

Also, I detailed my car for the first time on my own a few days ago (took 4 hours) but my camera's battery died before I could snap some pictures. It actually turned out incredible - I was sure I would've messed up and missed a whole chunk somehow (knowing my luck) but it really looked impeccable. Car looks like candy now, haha.
