I'm starting this thread to see how much interest there would be in a spring/early summer meet for the north central region. I would imagine it would consist mostly of MN and WI peeps and any one else who wants to make the drive. I can make an attempt to organize it, but it would be in MN if I did so. I know Madison would be more centrally located for those from the Milwaukee area.

We could name a date well in advance so that people could clear their schedules. Please reply with location ideas and state your case for a specific location. I'm thinking early June.

 

at the kolhs center or the alleint energy center **** we could tie it all in with my cannon ball run if u want

if it ties in to the cannonball run then we probly could get a bigger group together for both events

One of the biggest car shows in the state. Well over 800 cars show. Town gets taken over by car nuts. What more can you ask for?

My club had a event up there last year and are planning an even bigger and better one this year for that weekend.

 

go to the video store and rent "cannonball run". it's an oldie so it should be like $1 to rent. it'll explain it all.

basically its a race from point A to point B with no rules. first one there wins. any car can enter.

 

Any interest in making it a joint J-tuner / Cobalt meet? That would be awesome except that i'll be on my honeymoon that weekend. DOH. Maybe I can get the misses to make our honeymoon wisconsin dells

 

ok guys i think its a great idea to hold it on the weekend of the 18... i will set the cannon ball run date for that and will work from there this will be sweet ..." ive got goose bumbs" and will set the cobalt / j tuner mee then it will be freakin sweet man...

I think that would be the best situation, I think it's kind of ironic that I started this thread knowing there were only 2 weekends I couldn't make it and it looks like one of those weekends is it.

Mini J-Body Car Show @ Riverview Parking Lot (trophies & raffle prizes included; Raffles & Trophies ceremony begins at 6pm; must be present to win) - 3:30pm-6:30pm
Supper @ Ponderosa - 6:30pm-9pm
Cruising/Hanging Out on the Strip - 9pm - ???

Sunday:
Meet up @ Riverfront Parking Lot for Rural Cruise - 9am-10am

hey guys...im wondering if i can get a role call of how many people are planning on actualy doing the cannonball run this may.. in fact the weekend of the 18 " automotions 07' ".. im sitting down with my group of guys that are helping me get the ball role'n on this and id like a rough head count of people who are really going to do this

I really don't have stuff planned for weekends, so as far as I'm concerned, I could make it. Still a little cloudy since it's almost 5 months away. I would be up for it though!

 

Maybe a separate thread for a head count would be easier..just my 2 cents
