WI: New Cobalt Owner here
I'm not sure if i over looked the welcome thread but i can't seem to find it so i guess this will have to do. "Please move to correct place if possible".
Former Honda owner here just sold my baby "98 GSR integra w/JDM Front end" and decided to try something different and came across a good deal on this Cobalt. So far im really enjoying it and its wearing on me slowly. I would like to learn more about it as i own it so thats why i am here.
I picked this up down in Beecher IL. Im sure someone on here may know of this car already.

I actually have a question. Hopefully someone can help me.
Im new to superchargers & turbo's. Always was NA in my prior honda's.
So anyways. I cracked the throttle on an open road not that long ago to see what this car hand and the PSI wouldn't go past 16.5 on the boost & interceptor gauge i had set, And with the tuner telling me im pushing 300hp people are telling me something isn't right about that??
I am wanting to get it dyno'd so i can see real numbers for myself.. Any input on this?

The m62 is your stock supercharger on you car its nickname is the heaton. Cuz it heatsoaks very easy...thr TVS is a larger supercharger offered for our cars it is much more efficient and it lives off of e85 and or meth

Welcome!
We have a SE WI/NE IL group. Our next meet is Sunday, in Racine.
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/gene...a-area-274178/
We are meeting at the Shell Plaza on HWY 20 just off of I-94. We will be leaving the Shell promptly at 8:30 to get to the Zoo by 9:00 and pray there is still enough room for them to park us all together.
Boost /= HP
That being said, your boost seems to be a bit high for having a 3" exhaust. I'm almost the identical setup, and am only seeing 15lbs.
M62 is the supercharger on the car stock.
TVS is an upgraded bigger one that will make more power.
