im kinda being stingy on traveling and what not cuz of KC

 

on the way home from work i followed a mazdaspeed 6 that pulled out in front of me hoping to get to mess around with him. well we get to a light we both turn left and he guns it so i do too, so i can follow him. i stick with him the whole time, we reach 70 and slow down. then i pull up next to him and say "nice car," he replies, "thanks." then at the next light we are side by side no one infront of us. i talk to him a bit, this that, then the light turns green, we both take off. surprisingly he didn't leave me in his dust. i squelched end of first and same to second. i was at his drivers side door. around 4.5k-5k in 2nd gear i start to instantly pull (he shifted). i had 1.5 cars by the end of second at least. i stopped after second gear because of traffic ahead. i get up next to him again and he asked if i had a smaller pulley, so i told him. and i ask what he had done to his, he says, "just an intake." So i say, "that thing's AWD with about 260hp, right?" he responds, "274hp." i think in my head...damn i did pretty good for AWD 274 hp...sucks to have a heavier car, and a mazda. so basically we talk a bit more and i ask about if he ever messed around with a stock balt, he said no. we kept talking and messing around for a few miles until he jumped on the highway.

basically, i'm pretty sure i would have kept walking him pretty good after 2nd gear. The guy was pretty cool, not a knob, or a **** so that is . i'm guessing that a stock balt ss/sc would have been pretty damn even with him. either way, the car looked like it needed to be lowered 3inches and/or a body kit needed to be installed on it. i like my balt a lot better.
