already planning on getting a thermostat..but

 

how are your hoses? maybe a flush would be in order, but I don't think anything could be plugged on such a new car though. hopefully it's just the thermostat, those are super esy to replace on these engines.

 

I ordered my new clutch yesterday. Exedy OEM replacement with Fidanza flywheel. It should be here by next. I am not in a huge hurry to install it. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

 

im almost 100% positive its just the thermostat. and preston dude dont worry about the milky **** on the oil CAP we all have it. its the dipstick you should be worried about. and u told me there wasnt so ur freaking urself out man.

my guess is your going to have to go with the oem replacement from chevy, i was already down this road, the alts are going to go off your vin and there were two kinds of alts for ss/sc 05s, you cant get these alts for an 05 cause the o6 had the p and there different, i had to return mine i ending up just trying to see if mine would work and it did, your going to have to buy it from chevy hate to be the bust your ***** and to **** in your corn flakes but your going to have to get ass rapped by chevy on this one cause the one for an 05 is a gm direct part only, just because the store says they can get it doesnt mean ****, i went there this also with autozone.

maybe you can ask curt if he'll sell you the one off his car but i doubt he will but its worth a try asking him. unless its gone now
