wisconsin car club (balts and ions)
The only rules that Team Rev has is that you have a cobalt, ion. or g5. We have already made some exceptions. Just a side note for ya. Team Rev is a group of the coolest guys that you will ever find. By the way welcome to the site.
Yea man, Welcome. My bad I didnt get to meet with ya guys. I was barly in town at all this weekend. Saturday I hit up gurnee mills and six flags, sat night came back and went bowling and then sunday went up to noahs arc and mt olumpus at the dells.

well, first we all strip down...you get in the middle. then all you have to do is take it like a champ....ahhh. wait that was that drunken frat i became apart of 5 times in one week. awesome!
haha.
haha.
im gonna need you to keep that to yourself, haha. We actually told a new guy at work that memorial day was our annual mud wrestling party. he believed it and now he doesnt turn his back to anyone.
yea, double clutching is worthless but boost shifting never hurts
You could try a couple of local area shops, otherwise you just have to find someone with hptuners.
you really should upgrade injectors if ur running a 2.8 on 42.5lbers. w/o a tune ur running a lil lean, and with a tune, you could be pushing your IDC around 95% which isnt always safe.
dude just come to one of our meets and we'll fill ya in

It's a nice day out...my car is getting de-striped, washed, and waxed. hopefully everything goes according to plan.
it's sort of sad getting rid of the stripes though...
I will have to take some pictures.

sorry, all said and done. it looks sweet. although half of the car was a bitch to get the glue off. the other half was a breeze. i decided to take off my GM badge also. it all came out to look good. the only bad thing that happened was that i noticed a flaw in the paint near my side mirror....nothing to worry about though. maybe i can get GM to give me a new paint job. ehh...doubt it.
no more pin stripes, but i'm still very homosexual.
oh yeah, when pullin my car in to get washed/waxed in my driveway, i noticed the odometer read 9,999. what a sweet way to bring in the 5 digits.

well, its up to you. I wouldnt trust the Intense tune personally, i would see if you could find someone w/ hp tuners or go to a shop. 1 of 2 things Could happen (not guarenteed) 1. when you get in ur higher rpm range you will hit your fuel cut, like most DSM's do when they increase boost and they sputter. No biggie. 2. You'll run crazy lean and possibly go boom.
Craig has been running a 2.8 in 42lbers and from what I have heard he hasnt had any issues.
I'm not trying to be an ass or anything by telling you what to do. I just dont want to see you blow up ur car. If it were me (which it will be in a week
) I would run a 2.9 w/ 42lbers until you can get tuned w/ hptuners. If you can get tuned safely w/ hptuners, then I think your all good to run a 2.8, because then you can monitor your IDC (injector duty cycle) and it will tell you if ur safe or not.
But, it also depends on altitude. I believe its any where under 2000ft above sea level its safe. (dont ask me why, i'm just going by what i have been told)
If you have any other questions feel free to ask
