Hi everyone, I haven't been following your thread at all and i was wondering if you guys/gals are making the trip down for the July 7th CED show? Let me know if you have any questions.

well im going to stop by a pontiac dealer and get a vin and then get the price from a chevy dealer that usually gives me mad discounts which i have no idea why

there are two stage kits that i am looking at. the one from gm and the one from cobalt addiction.com. would i really notice 30 horsies and if i do is it worth voiding my warranty if its up on Feb 14, 2008?

 

Ive heard some not so great things from the cobalt-addiction one, and I look at it this way, GM designed our cars and they know whats up with em. Oh and yes you will feel 30 horsies along with a higher redline.

 

yeah, i don't believe any of us have the CA kits. it would be going into uncharted wisconsin territory...i guess you will find out how well the kit works and meshes together. if your not worried about warrenty or with a kit that has been used, try the CA kit out. Many are getting smaller pullies anyways. might as well go with a kit that is made for a smaller pulley.

 

yea, i have delt with c-a and i personally dont trust them. I'd say check out zzp and buy everything seperatly, or go stg 2 and drop down to a 2.9.

 

im doin stage 2 with the 2.9 to be safe. And what sucks is that I was going to buy my stage 2 kit while at the CED meet, but I dont know if Im going anymore if no one else is.
