Anybody interesed in Coilovers or carbon fiber hoods? I know a place where you can get the hoods for around $475 and the coilovers for around $700.

I'm thinking about going with the coilovers, because thats a hella good price.

 

9 hours 1 minute from my house to the hotel. i guess thats not too bad. buy cb's. we will need to stop maybe 3 times total during the way down.

 

man...i want to go, but i'm still very much in the air about it.

well I requested off for the friday and monday of it. I think if we are going to leave on that friday, we will need to leave very early since check in is by 3. and if we leave thursday night we are going in the dark and I enjoy seeing the sights on the way there.

I was researching cb radio lingo and i found out that truckers call cops, bears and when you get a tick its called a bear bite. I thought that was funny and I cant wait for this trip.

 

I think that it would be easier to meet off of 43 in Delavan at the Wal-Mart cause that would be easier for me cause east troy is north of me and I don't want to back track.

 

how are the cb radios powered?

 

cigarette lighter or 12v power

 

You can hardwire them to a power source or you can plug them into the cirgarette lighter.

We are going to go threw Beloit but I dont think that we are picking anyone up after me in WI. Plus the Wal-Mart in Delavan is easy to get in and out of compared to somewhere in Beloit. Can't wait for this trip.

 

did anyone do a hotel yet? let me know before you make final arrangments about sleeping. i'd rather just bunk up with a group so it is cheap!
