Anyone interested in an LSJ short block? I just got it from Dave (dspeed). I was planning on taking it a part and using the crank in my 2.1L hybrid build. The timing tentioner in the head sheard off cause the chain to skip cause the valves to make contact with some of pistons. A couple of the pistons have small marks on them. I also have the head from that engine. The bolt that holds the tentioner would need to be removed and the valves would need to be replaced. So it would make a good canidate for a ported head.

I am not asking a lot. I pretty much want this stuff out of my garage. I got to make room for the Regal.

Milwaukee SCCA @ Milwaukee Mile on Sat, but I believe registration might be closed for that already...

Chicago SCCA @ Blackhawk Farms (South Beloit, IL, about 20 mins north of Rockford) on the 14th. This is a really great, really fun track, and I think it's totally worth the drive. It's only a 2 hour event, but it's like $65, I believe if you aren't a SCCA member.

Diamond 10-1 stock bore with total seal rings/pins/locks..all brand new i had to get .20 over n couldnt return these ones so there just chillin in the box

Is anyone going to Late Model Throttle this weekend? Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they are having a car show/dyno competition. Its mainly just non stop cars going on the dyno. I am taking the Abarth on Sunday.

That's the only day I can go . What time are you going?

 

They are doing the show 10-2 on Sunday. I am going to try to make it there around 11. Do you know how to get there? It's kind of hard to find because its in a big warehouse type building.
