Ran the truck at GLD last night. I should bracket race this thing. All three times down the track were 16.2 @ 82. I was just glad that it wasn't the slowest thing on the track.

That's right ******* I took the motor out the top. Dropped the cradle about w inches and un bolted the trans pushed it about 3 inches sideways.

Just because it was easy out, doesn't mean it was easy to go back in. Hope you didn't have any problems. I was just meaning as an all around pull, easy in easy out no issues out the bottom props to you for going out the top.

speaking of which how was it going back in?

Sorry I wasn't able to make it out to hwy. I was at the Sprint Cup race in Joliet raking in the ladies.

Also I ran the DD at GLD last Friday. I should bracket race this thing because I ran a 16.2 @ 82 on all 3 runs that I made.

It went back in with out a hitch. With the trans pushed to the side it came out and in very nice. There was a learning curve on what needed to all come loose but I had the car back together in in in one day. We fired the motor today and it runs way smooth. I would have never been able to get it done in the time that it took let alone found the motor for such a great price if it wasn't for jess"s dad. I'm going to spend some time returning the car completly back to stock so I can trade it in. I have my eye on a mazda speed in Il.

Well that’s good, glad it went in perfectly with out any problems. And returning it back to stock shouldn’t really take you that long correct. All you really had to my last reselection was a strut bar, stereo, intake and the gmp cat back? or have you done lots more? and take care of the mazda, there really nice and fun to drive, mazda has some pretty wicked suspensions

Tom is the man!

Side note I have no plans for the mazdaspeed. If mazda offers aftermarket kits ill look into those but otherwise the car will remain un molested

Will you be willing to race my LSJ?

I can beat a GMS1 SS/TC but I want to try my hands on a "tuned" one.
