but anyways, the head is off the car again and there was oil in the intake ports/oil buildup in the injector seats in the head.. a couple people think its my pcv line.. any ideas? im thinking about buying an oil catch can and seeing if that would help.such a pain this car is : (

Yeah, although I don't think its for the better. Still way to much drama.

Could be. I'm sure there is a lot of crankcase pressure thats pushing oil out of the valve cover, if your in boost. Could be a bad turbo. Is there oil in the intercooler/charge piping?

well reason i ask about the valve cover is unless the baffleing that got melted when it was baked was ground out. the stock pcv is no good anymore. also on ANY turbo setup. the stock pcv is not enough. you need atleast a breather filter where the oil cap is, or a minimum of a -8an fitting there going to an overflow tank with a filter there.

on my old turbo setup i had a hose coming off the pcv valve on the valve cover and just dumping underneith the car. no can or anything, just the end of the hose.

crankcase pressure sucks. blocks were designed well enough to relieve that pressure, but you need to throw the -8 line in the right spot on the valve cover.

If you're willing to drive I'll film. Don't feel like driving though.

Yeah I do actually.. should I be running an oil catch can? And dave, there was no oil in any of the charge piping. The pistons were surprisingly clean also.

Sounds like you need a whole crankcase breather setup.
