soo,,,, people of WNY,,, i am originally from the lockport (Newfane) area and potentially looking to move back. I dont necessarily want to move back to one area im open to any area niagara erie orleans genessee monroe wayne or ontario counties, one problem. where to find a job.. I currently work for a large company and am a liquor/beer/wine salesmen. however my company is not in NY so a transfer is out of the question. anyone want to throw out some ideas for companies potentially hiring in this general area. like i said im in sales but also interested in business and accounting type stuff. Thanks Guys, I know jobs are hard to come by in WNY these days

Yea half of me knows that, but my family is all up there, and I also cannot stand that the last 2 weeks has been 97 or hotter where I live. I enjoy being able to breath when I walk outside.

I read a lot on the hp tuners forum and MDub and James on here have helped me a bunch. Hp tuners is nice cause you can compare maps to see what was changed and how the car reacts. I have had 3 different people tune my car so i have lots of maps to look at and learn.

 

Any one know a local with a red hhr/ss that is completely stock? He had dark hair, thin build, has a kid. I briefly talked to him @ nyirp on Wednesday, he was having a hell of a time with torque nanny kicking in on launch lol.

 

It could be the guy that lives down the street from me and i know he has kids. I never talked to him, but i did a 50mph heater past him when he was standing by his car one day lol.

New era performance in Rochester bought a lsj cobalt back in the day and kept it for quite awhile ...... They were douches to one lsj owner i know thou...... but they should know how to tune an LSJ at least . I have a trifecta cable if you ever want to go that route .

What are you gunna run for a pulley ?

 

Dont even bother with new era, i tryed getting them to tune my LNF and they blew off my phone calls and messages 4 times before telling me they dont deal with them anymore, they seemed to be a pretty stuck up bunch. Try out mike at innovative tuning theyre on hinman ave in kenmore, he did a great job on my car and i know hes done a few other lsj's so im lretty sure he'd set ya up with a solid tune!

 

yeah my buddy got his cobalt tuned at new era and afterwards the guy said he would never do anyother cobalt so that's out haha.. i also do not want to go to innovative. i'd rather have someone who knows cobalts do it or go with trifecta.

Right now i'm on gm stage 2 tune with a 2.9 and i would like to go to a 2.8/60's setup

 

Thats the problem with our area ....... the guys who know LNF/LSJ's arent within reasonable driving distance...... you almost have to make a vacation out of driving to one lol.

I still miss my old SS/SC ..... ran basically the same setup you are now. I wish there were more tuning options back in 06-07 like there are now ......I would have prolly have a lot more with it . I remember back in 06 people were still using maf-t's lol.

 

I really need to learn more on the tuning side of things. I have HP tuners but Dave is typically my go to. It would just be nice to know more about it first hand.

Yea. There's a few of us. Me and the wife, mr noob, dont know what venom is up to these days, jay is getting rid of the car but still a cool guy to hang out with, depending slowswap/articzap may come out (not a cobalt owner but knows them better than most lol), Just gotta come up with an idea of something to do. We've done a few cruises, food, casino, pics. idk if you have something in mind let us know and maybe we can figure something out. It's been tough lately.

 

I wouldn't mind getting together for something before snow flies..... it's been awhile.
