yeah each year we have had more people show up for the meet. so will see how it goes.Maybe this year i will bring the car to the meet and not leave it at the show.

Has anyone looked at the hotels yet. im not finding anything cheap. unless its out towards salsibury. Dont really feel like staying half hour away.

^ sam, have you tried the places that are listed as "mention OC Car Show for rate"? There's like two on the site and i saw a couple more listed somewhere, i'm just not sure where lol

 

the cheapest i saw is 189 a night for a standard room but im also trying to be at a hotel on the boardwalk

 

All this talk about OC makes me want it to warm up.

idk, i've found that it's cheaper to get a condo lol and def worth it

anyhwere on the island that time of year will be more than what the room is worth. My advice is when you book you have to book whole weekend, most places wont do one nite. so with that said go for a bigger room and more than one bed and split the cost with someone. I suggest princess royal either bayside or beach side bc it will have two large beds a full kitchen and a living room with a sofa and plent of floor space to have sleeping bags. also huge indoor pool and coverd parking. So you spend 400 for two days, but throw 4 head in there and its 100 bucks for pimp room for two days cant beat it.

 

Yeah I checked some of them. Really can't find anything less than 150 a night. But need to call that place them have a see about there discounts

And I have tried all three of the places I have stayed last 3 years and all have raised there prices. My have to try and find a room mate. I did like the place last year.

 

garuntee there are over 300 hotels to pick from best thing to do is use oc's zipcode and search for hotels that way for and if there is a way to narrow the miles away from just do within 5 miles. Also you will not get a discount for one nite in june. also again remember most places will only do min 2 nite stay for they loose money renting for one night during summer and when a car show is also going down. but hey what do i know im just a local lol

 

dude i know all of this. not to be a *****. but if you read my posts i have been down there the last three years. and i always stay friday to monday. and i know that 2 nights are full price and sunday is a discounted price. I have stayed at princess bayside, the comfort suites and last year at the gold coast. I am just asking if anyone has looked at the hotels and knows of cheap ones they have seen. And the discounts im refering too are the ones offered through OC carshows website. and if i have to pay 160 a night than so be it. i just dont want to stay all the way out in salsbury to get a real cheap price. Not when it takes a half hour drive in the morning when i have to be at the show at 7am to register

 

thank god my dad gives me his Hilton points a weekend fo freeee

7am for oc car n truck show, never! If you in anyway need a question answered which you prob wont for youve done it 3 or 4 times just ask, ill hang in the shadows now lol

 

Lol they were def there at 7 for June last year, THEY lol we ended up staying out til like 3-4 am so we didn't roll outta bed and get there til 830-9ish lol my bad...

 

heck I dont even attempt to roll over the bridge till 9pm, but gotta be there at 8pm now for my first cobalt meet lol
