Uh, LOL, dumb question but does Dave know anyone's planning on coming? I know everyone talked about it like a week and a half ago, but I haven't heard anything since.

I'll wait to hear back from Dave about it before I decide whether I'm gonna be there or not.

Wes said last night that his clutch hasn't come yet, nor does he have a tracking #, so he has no clue where it's at.

Have fun tomorrow.... I'll be up with cars and college chicks.... poor me.

I don't think I'm gonna be there. Not really comfortable going unless Dave's OK with me being there and I haven't heard back from him.

If I do I'll be there, if I don't - I won't. I don't wanna cause problems.

I dunno about them doing it... KR that is....

I talked to them 4 months ago about it, and they didn't even know if they were a GMPP authorized dealer / service place.... took them a week to find out.

PLUS... I would want to know they guy doing the work has done more than 1 or two.

Brian,

They don't have to be a GMPP dealer to do it. If/when I ever get mine, my grandfather's place is going to do it and they are neither a GMPP dealer nor a Chevy dealer.

Well, that may be so... but I'm sure you TRUST the place doing it... that was my point.

Well yeah, and when it's a blood relative you have to kind of hope they're not going to screw you over.

Just bring the car over Dave's and we'll install it. Each one of us can do a pulley swap on a car. After tonight, we know what to do and what not to do.

Rick grace is a decent guy to deal with...

Ed Wohler ( this that's how it's spelled ) is the service adviser for the Cobalts ( the white team ), and that's who I've dealt with since day one. I had Rick the other night as the go to guy since I was there on a night Ed wasn't there. He took good care of me.

After running today, I'm still debating on what I'm going to do with the car. THe extra HP is nice on the street, but the Auto-X isn't always good for the extra power... but we'll see. I've been wrong before.

Hoe did everyones' pulley swaps go????

OMFG.... My car is insane!!! Definitely going from stock to 2.5" pulley was the greatest thing!

Yeah, 9 snapped grade 8 bolts, one run to home depot and lowes, and 6 hours later, we had 2 pulleys swapped, snouts machined, and tuned machines.

Big adventure, but it paid off when we were done!

And the rubbermaid racer is as quiet as stock!!! Sounds so funny... Even at WOT in my car, Wes and I still heard the turbo spooling in an Evo Saturday night. We both hit a yellow light with about 200 feet to stop. I stopped cause I wanted to play with the Evo from a dig, he blew through the light...and then all I saw was Dave chasing My car was so quiet, the Evo didnt want to play with me at first...he thought he'd blow my doors right off me I guess... I gave him about a 20mph and a car and a half jump on me, and I started playing catch up very easily
