Albany Auto Show Meet: Albany, NY
as i said before i was stating, i know it wouldn't even be a race, and what do u mean if... nick needs to grow the ***** to race me for me to beat him, i was all for racing but he couldn't get his "boys" to come so he bitched out. so whats the matter? u were all for running against me and now u gotta see how bad i smoke nick so u can decide if u wanna run me?
First off, I'm not a big fan of street racing, so this should be settled on the track; and I have no problem runnin' you. I feel the need to dog on everyone, so get used to it. It's all in good fun. We all drive Cobalts, right?
Secondly, if you can't beat my car on the track then there's something wrong w/ your driving skills, cause I'm still on stock suspension, tires, clutch and axles at 23K putting down 258 on a mustang dyno...
What did your car put down again?
And we're the ones that can't take a joke?

as far as the track goes ur gonna have to wait for mid june cause im gonna be out doing circles in the ocean for the next 2 months
haha if u wanna go by numbers ull kick my ass cause i put down 213hp/ 198 tq with my current mods, but then again this is on the 3rd lowest reading dyno in the country
. but if u wanna go by times at the end of last year my fastest time was a 13.5 @ 107.

BTW, on the track w/ my traction issues, I won't be surprised by if I clock a 14.5 @ 107,
I guess that gives me a little time to at least pick up some 225's for my stockers so I have a fighting chance. Were those times at Lebanon? What do you launch at w/ that setup, 3500-4000?
The mustang dyno I was on throws out numbers about 13.5% lower than your standard dynojet. I know the dyno you speak of, as I've heard 2K5 speak of it many times. Sounds like it puts out about 15% lower numbers.
rubber duckies FTW...

You better pick up some DR's then.
Actually, SMG Performance just posted a GB on Hoosier's in 225/50/15 or 225/50/16. Those should both work, but I think the 16's will rub close to the 1/4 depending on what speed you actually get to...

that wasnt factoring in DR's that was factoring a few more ponies
Why go w/ an expensive upgrade over the stock brakes?
Stock setup is a great setup, and just putting on the GM slotted or powerslot slotted rotors and stainless lines w/ good pads on there will be more than enough for a DD. That way you don't have to get rid of those crazy light aftermarket rims...

I was like a block away from the show, all u had to do was call and we could of met up and raced. U gonna be back in town this weekend? Ill race u, chris, and whoever wants to go as long as the weather is dry. No offense to Chris but I know I will beat him so u might as well just get ready.

Pretty sure I did, but who cares anyways. You won't be the first and certainly won't be the last.
That is just plain ol' dumb. Absolutely pointless. Just wanted to let you know.
There is no need for that. It's just overkill and asking for issues. Custom projects come w/ custom problems. If you want to put together something worthwhile, most of the part numbers are available now for the conversion to the 08 SS/TC Brembo setup; more than enough for our car. Takes about three tools to change out.
Don't just waste money to say you have something. Save that money for your project...you're gonna need it...
