Any one in Delaware out there
yes we have, date is set. church is set. bought invitations. working on the guest list, we're only doing family & good friends to cut down on cost. things are slowly coming together. we'll be checking out a couple reception options next week.

I think we invited around 140ish and about 120 showed up...we even had people RSVP that were a no call/no show the day of
because we're getting married on a Friday..... it's hard to say just how many people will be able to make it.
we need to go back over our list..... my mom wants me to invite a bunch of other people from church.... i told her "if i don't know them, they aren't invited." just about everyone at church knows who i am, but i don't know 60-70% of the people. this is Krista & I's wedding.... we want people we know there, we're not money hungry and inviting everyone possible in hopes that we'll get more stuff.

We've got three Friday weddings to go to this year. Its becoming quite the trend since normally is a whole boat load cheaper.
My mom tried to do the same thing. I was like mom if I have no clue who they are then they arent invited...but tell them feel free to send gifts
haha

FYI - I wish i got an hhr ss and my buddy wants one so badly

i'll definitely let you know if i get a dyno day or track day or something setup.
oh and FYI - my HHR SS could be for sale for the right price.
i sort of feel bad because we're trying to keep it "small" and not inviting all of our friends, but i'm starting to feel ok with it, especially after pricing out a place for the reception.
the price is good in my opinion (compared to other prices i've heard), but i don't want to pay for anymore people.

Lots of people think we spent a fortune on our wedding...and we did nothing close to that. Its all about who you know lol...and thankfully my mom knows everyone

a friend here at work had a vr6 one with intake, exhaust, coilovers & 18" audi wheels..... it looked sweet! too bad it was auto and gave him too many issues.
you can make them pretty fast. faster than that auto Z you got there. just saying.

Cris has had 3 MKIV VW's his 03 GTI, His wife had a 99.5 VR6 which they sold and got a 03 TDI, None of them have had any sort of electrical problems. Only issues was the VR6 had a bad coil pack and heater core, GTI had a water pump go bad.
I think that the MKIV is actually more reliable than most people say.

One of my best friends little brother has a mkiv vr6 that he turbo'd. Its nasty. Except he has popped the motor twice. Had about 50 miles on it each time. And he wonders why it breaks when he romps on it with only 50 miles on a fresh motor rebuild + boost.
