why did they deny warranty? GMS1 is GM isn't it?

they're saying the calibration confirmation #s aren't matching stock specs, which means they can see it was tuned on top of the GMS1...... which i don't see how they can do that because i'm sure the GMS1 was put back on correctly.

then they mentioned something about all the aftermarket parts, i laughed at them for that. told them that what i had done to the car wouldn't cause the engine to blow.

I don't know if it will help you out any or not but I figured it was worth a shot.

seems to explain how a dealership can't just void the warranty because there's aftermarket parts on the car. they have to prove that the parts cause the problem.

the parts i have on my car will not cause the engine to blow, so i know i'll be safe there if i have to fight it.

the thing i need to get figured out is that whole calibration (tune) issue. the GMS1 is on the car and they're saying the #s don't match factory specs.... we'll see what happens.

suuup guys!

I scored a set (4) of fatlace valve stem caps on another forum for $10 bucks. I can sell them easily on ebay for $40 bucks a pair (those hellaflush kids apparently love to overpay for this shiz). I was thinking last night that I should just put em on one of our cars for awhile before I sell them for epic lolz since our cars in no way fit the fatlace/cannibeat/hellaflush/stance look.

i really want to.

driving this Civic sedan for the past 2 weeks has made me have no desire to have the wagon back. it's impossible to get in trouble with this car and the damn thing gets 30mpg easily.

I feel the same way about the scion. It doesnt go very fast so I cant get myself into trouble. Plus tint, wheels and a drop and it looks fine and dandy the way it is. I'm satisfied. Its a kick ass DD. I find us even driving it on the weekends...yet another reason why the Z is probably gonna get the boot.
