So I threw a p0013 code yesterday and noticed boost was less responsive. Started her up today to get a new exhaust can solenoid and it works fine now. Hmmm to get the part or wait till it goes out. I don't think it'll hurt anything, just throw me in limo mode if it really fails. Could be as simple as a little debrees that had to clear up or the solenoid is bad.

ok..... i think it's time we start discussing a meet. like i've been saying it can either be a dyno day, track day at Cecil County or even a BBQ at a local park.
I am probably going to start a thread about this but I figured I'd start here being in Bridgeville, DE. I recently was hit by 2 deer in my 2005 cobalt ss and it was totaled by my insurance company. Here is the kicker they totaled it because the final straw was the fire dept cut my wiring harness. I LOVE MY CAR!!!! I will fix it! I need help finding parts and deciding what I want to do. My front is smashed up so I am debating on getting a body kit.
What I need is if anyone knows of a cobalt that I can pick parts from or if any yall just have some stuff laying around that you don't need anymore just let me know.

there's pros & cons to this situation...... unfortunately i doubt he has the time to really sit and think about this tho. buying a SS turbo = car payment, maybe he doesn't want the payment (i know i've been wondering how life would be without a car payment).

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I am going to keep it stock. Nothing really catches my eye. Here is a tid bit about me. I've never been one to spend a lot of money. All my friends make fun of me about being so tight. One day back in 2005 I saw a blue 2005 Cobalt SS and fell in love with it. I just had to have it. I saw that car every day for a couple months until one day I went into the dealer and tried to buy it. They told me there was a slim chance for me to finance it because a 20 year old girl doesn't have enough credit. Let me tell you they were surprised when they handed me the keys. I have taken the best care of the car over the years and I will never get rid of it. I have always spent the money when it came to the cobalt.
So needless to say it will be fixed and to make it even better my entire family are mechanics.
